Jensen Huang's personally worn and signed black leather jacket by Tom Ford was sold at a Sotheby's charity auction for $960,000, exceeding the highest estimate by 16 times, which was set at $40,000 to $60,000. The jacket was worn by Huang during the 2023 Foxconn Technology Day and has been verified for its provenance, with the signature also authenticated by professionals. The auction was initiated by the venture capital firm Long Journey Ventures, and the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Edge Institute to support young entrepreneurs and researchers.
