Messari has released the BNB Chain Q2 2025 Report: DEX Trading Volume, Stablecoin Transaction Count, and Active Users Lead the Chain
BlockBeats News, August 22nd, the latest BNB Chain Q2 2025 report released by Messari shows that BNB Chain continued its strong growth in the second quarter, with record-high user activity and on-chain transactions. Daily active addresses and transaction volume saw significant increases, DeFi activity remained robust, DEX trading volume, stablecoin transaction count, and active users all ranked first across the chain, solidifying its leading position in the Web3 ecosystem.

Market Cap and Investor Confidence: BNB's market cap increased by 7.5% in the quarter, reaching $92.6 billion.
On-Chain Transactions and Activity: Average daily transaction volume increased by 101.9% to 9.9 million transactions, average daily active addresses grew by 33.2% to 1.6 million; 17 million new addresses in May.
DEX Performance: DEX trading volume ranked first across the chain, with a Q2 average daily trading volume of $3.3 billion, PancakeSwap market share at 85.1%, Uniswap quarterly growth of 755.4% to $297 million. Network-wide fees decreased by 90% to 0.1 gwei.
Stablecoins: Stablecoin market cap increased by 49.6% to $10.5 billion, USD1 launched with $2.2 billion, USDT leading with a market cap of $6.3 billion; BSC stablecoin transaction count and active users ranked first across the chain.
DeFi TVL: A 14% increase to $9.9 billion in the quarter, maintaining the fourth position.
Technical Upgrades: Lorentz and Maxwell hard forks reduced block time to 0.75 seconds opBNB and Volta upgrades: Cross-chain TVL increased to $64.9 million; Volta block interval reduced to 500 milliseconds, achieving sub-second finality.
Ecosystem Support: MVB Season 9 supported 16 early-stage projects; Stablecoin 0 Fee Carnival subsidized $4 million gas fees, accelerating user adoption.
