BlockBeats News, August 20, Matrixport's RWA tokenization platform Matrixdock announced that its gold token XAUm has completed on-chain deployment on the Sui Network. This is the first successful deployment of XAUm on a non-EVM compatible chain, representing a significant milestone in XAUm's technical architecture and network support scalability. The Sui Foundation will also allocate part of its reserve assets to XAUm, demonstrating its support for the project through tangible actions and further highlighting the strategic position of tokenized gold in the on-chain asset portfolio of the Web3 era.

XAUm is the first gold token asset on the RWA tokenization track on the Sui Network, providing the Sui community and traditional investors with a new way to participate in the gold market. With XAUm's on-chain deployment completed and full integration into the on-chain ecosystem, users in the Sui ecosystem can easily access XAUm and efficiently engage in on-chain ecosystem interactions.

Currently, XAUm has collaborated with the underlying infrastructure on the Sui Network. Pyth Network will provide a Sui Network-exclusive price feed for XAUm, and Slush has also launched XAUm to provide a seamless protocol interaction experience for on-chain participants. At the same time, cooperation between XAUm and mainstream DeFi protocols on the Sui Network has entered the integrated access stage.
